Raffle Rules for Fort McMurray ​Minor Hockey Association

Ticket Sales Finality:

• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
  

Ticket Stub Clarification:

• If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be ​awarded to only one individual named on the ticket.
  
• The licensed charitable organization and AGLC are not responsible for disputes ​between individuals named on the ticket.
  

Eligibility:

• Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.
  
• The name of a minor must not be written on the ticket.
  

Ticket Information:

• A total of 20,000 tickets will be available for sale.
  
• Each ticket costs $10.
  

Draw Details:

Early Bird Draw:

• Date: November 30, 2024
  
• Location: Frank Lacroix Arena, 155 Beaconwood Rd, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 3R5
  
• Prize: $2,500 value
  
• All draws are open to the public
  

Final Draw:

• Date: February 25, 2025
  
• Location: Frank Lacroix Arena, 155 Beaconwood Rd, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 3R5
  
• Prizes: 10 prizes in total
  
• All draws are open to the public
  

Prize Information:

• Winners will be contacted using the information provided on the ticket stub ​(name, email, and phone number).
  
• Winners must claim their prizes within 90 days of the draw date. If prize is not ​claimed within this period we will write to the AGLC to have the unclaimed prize ​donated back to the group
  

Compliance:

• All raffle activities will comply with AGLC regulations.
  
• Any discrepancies or issues with ticket sales or the raffle process should be ​reported to the Raffle Chairperson immediately.
  

Draw Procedures:

• Early Bird Draw:
  
• The Early Bird Draw will take place at center ice of Frank Lacroix Arena ​before a Junior Oil Barons game.
  
• The draw will be broadcast live on the game feed.
  
• The winner will be contacted, and the winning ticket will be placed back ​into the draw barrel for future draws.
  
• Main Draw:
  
• The final draw will be conducted at center ice by the Raffle Chairperson.
  
• The draw will be recorded live on Facebook.
  
• A third party will photograph the winning ticket and document the ​winner’s information.
  
• The winning ticket will be returned to the barrel for the next draw.
